Turn 4 Detail Terms of service
Last Updated: August 31, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern appointments and automotive detailing services provided by ASHEN STUDIOS LLC, operating as Turn 4 Detail(“Turn 4 Detail,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By requesting a quote, scheduling an appointment, paying a deposit, authorizing work, or otherwise using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
1. Appointments & Booking
Appointments may be scheduled through our online booking system, by phone, text message, email, social media, or another method approved by Turn 4 Detail.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information, including:
- Name and contact information.
- Vehicle year, make, model, and condition.
- Requested services.
- Vehicle location for mobile appointments.
- Any known damage, modifications, repairs, mechanical issues, paint defects, or other conditions that may affect the service.
Incorrect or incomplete information may result in pricing adjustments, delays, rescheduling, or refusal of service.
An appointment is not considered fully secured until the required deposit has been received.
2. Deposits
A 20% deposit is required for all appointments unless Turn 4 Detail agrees otherwise in writing.
The deposit reserves the scheduled appointment and is applied toward the final service balance.
Deposits are non-refundable.
If a customer cancels an appointment, the deposit will be forfeited.
Turn 4 Detail may, at its sole discretion, allow a deposit to be transferred to another appointment. Any such accommodation does not create an obligation to permit future transfers or rescheduling.
If Turn 4 Detail must cancel an appointment and cannot reasonably reschedule the service, the deposit may be refunded or credited toward another appointment.
Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
3. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows
Customers should contact Turn 4 Detail as soon as possible if an appointment needs to be changed.
Turn 4 Detail may cancel, postpone, or reschedule an appointment due to circumstances including:
- Severe or unsuitable weather.
- Unsafe working conditions.
- Equipment failure.
- Illness or emergency.
- Inability to access the vehicle.
- Insufficient workspace.
- Conditions that may create an unreasonable risk of injury or property damage.
- Other circumstances reasonably outside our control.
Customers who cancel or fail to appear for an appointment will forfeit their deposit.
Repeated cancellations, rescheduling, no-shows, or other scheduling issues may result in Turn 4 Detail declining future appointments.
4. Pricing, Estimates & Additional Work
Prices displayed online or communicated before an appointment are based on the information reasonably available to us at the time.
Pricing may change based on factors including:
- Vehicle size.
- Vehicle condition.
- Excessive dirt, mud, sand, pet hair, stains, odors, or contamination.
- Paint condition.
- Overspray, sap, tar, water spots, or industrial fallout.
- Aftermarket modifications.
- Additional labor or materials required.
- Services requested after work begins.
Quotes and estimates are not necessarily guaranteed final prices unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.
If we discover conditions requiring substantial additional work, we will make reasonable efforts to obtain customer authorization before performing work that materially increases the agreed price.
5. Payment
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all remaining balances are due immediately upon completion of service and before the vehicle is released.
Turn 4 Detail may accept payment through approved payment methods, including credit/debit cards, electronic payments, or other approved payment methods.
Customers are responsible for amounts legitimately owed for authorized services, fees, and applicable taxes.
6. Vehicle Access & Keys
The customer authorizes Turn 4 Detail and its employees, contractors, or authorized representatives to access, unlock, start, operate, reposition, and move the vehicle when reasonably necessary to perform the requested services.
This may include moving the vehicle within a driveway, parking area, shop, detailing bay, or other service location.
The customer is responsible for providing working keys, access codes, wheel-lock keys, or other items reasonably necessary to perform the requested service.
7. Mobile Service & Workspace Requirements
For mobile appointments, the customer is responsible for providing a safe and legally permissible location where the requested work can be performed.
Unless otherwise approved, the workspace should provide approximately three feet of clearance around the vehicle and must be reasonably:
- Level and stable.
- Free from moving traffic.
- Free from dangerous debris or obstacles.
- Accessible to our equipment.
- Clear of uncontrolled pets or other hazards.
- Suitable for the services being performed.
The customer is responsible for obtaining any necessary permission from property owners, landlords, apartment complexes, HOAs, businesses, or other parties controlling the property.
If conditions are unsafe, inaccessible, prohibited, or unsuitable, Turn 4 Detail may delay, suspend, decline, or reschedule the service.
Additional travel, service-call, or rescheduling charges may apply where appropriate and disclosed to the customer.
8. Personal Property & Vehicle Contents
Customers should remove money, jewelry, electronics, firearms, medications, documents, fragile items, valuables, and other important personal property before service.
Turn 4 Detail is not responsible for ordinary personal belongings left inside the vehicle except to the extent responsibility cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Items may need to be temporarily moved to perform interior detailing. We will make reasonable efforts to return moved items to the vehicle.
Turn 4 Detail may refuse to handle or move items that are hazardous, illegal, excessively valuable, unsanitary, or otherwise inappropriate for our employees or contractors to handle.
9. Pre-Existing Damage & Vehicle Condition
Turn 4 Detail takes reasonable care when working on customer vehicles.
However, vehicles may contain pre-existing or hidden defects that become apparent during cleaning, polishing, disassembly, pressure washing, chemical treatment, or other detailing procedures.
Examples include:
- Loose, peeling, cracked, or failing paint.
- Clear-coat failure.
- Previous bodywork or repainting.
- Rock chips.
- Scratches and dents.
- Rust or corrosion.
- Cracked or brittle plastics.
- Loose trim, emblems, moldings, or weather stripping.
- Damaged wheels or wheel finishes.
- Failing window tint.
- Deteriorated leather, vinyl, fabric, or plastics.
- Damaged electrical components.
- Water leaks.
- Improper repairs.
- Previously damaged or improperly installed aftermarket components.
Turn 4 Detail is not responsible for damage caused by a pre-existing defect, deterioration, improper installation, previous repair, manufacturer defect, or condition that could not reasonably have been identified before service.
We may document vehicle condition before, during, and after service.
10. Aftermarket Parts & Modifications
Customers must disclose aftermarket parts or modifications that may affect the requested service.
This includes, without limitation:
- Aftermarket paint or body panels.
- Vinyl wraps.
- Paint protection film (PPF).
- Ceramic coatings.
- Aftermarket wheels.
- Carbon-fiber components.
- Aero components.
- Decals.
- Refinished wheels.
- Custom interior components.
- Electrical accessories.
Turn 4 Detail cannot guarantee the durability or installation quality of products installed by another business or individual.
We are not responsible for failures caused by improperly installed, damaged, deteriorated, or defective aftermarket components except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
11. Service Results
Detailing results depend heavily on the age, condition, materials, previous repairs, maintenance history, and existing damage of the vehicle.
While we strive to achieve the best reasonable result, Turn 4 Detail does not guarantee complete removal or correction of every defect.
Certain stains, odors, scratches, etching, oxidation, water spots, paint defects, contamination, or other damage may be permanent or may require additional services.
We may intentionally leave certain defects partially corrected when further correction could compromise clear coat, paint, trim, upholstery, or another vehicle surface.
12. Paint Correction
Paint correction involves mechanically polishing vehicle paint to reduce visible defects.
Customers acknowledge that:
- Paint and clear-coat thickness varies between vehicles and panels.
- Previous repairs or repainting may affect correction results.
- Some scratches or defects may be too deep to safely remove.
- Complete defect removal is not guaranteed.
- Turn 4 Detail may stop correcting a defect when additional polishing could compromise the paint or clear coat.
Our priority is achieving improvement while preserving the integrity of the vehicle's finish.
13. Ceramic Coatings & Protective Products
Turn 4 Detail offers professional ceramic coatings and other protective products from various manufacturers.
Actual durability depends on numerous factors, including:
- Vehicle usage.
- Mileage.
- Storage conditions.
- Environmental exposure.
- Washing methods.
- Maintenance.
- Chemical exposure.
- Climate and weather conditions.
Any stated coating lifespan is an estimated or manufacturer-rated durability period and does not guarantee that the coating will perform identically for every vehicle for that entire period.
Customers are responsible for following recommended aftercare and maintenance procedures.
Damage caused by improper washing, automatic car washes, abrasive chemicals, accidents, environmental contamination, physical abrasion, neglect, or improper maintenance is not considered a product or installation failure.
Any applicable manufacturer warranty is subject to the manufacturer's separate warranty requirements.
14. Photography & Video
Turn 4 Detail may photograph or record vehicles before, during, and after service for purposes including condition documentation, quality control, training, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, insurance matters, and marketing.
Photographs or videos may be used on our website, social media accounts, portfolio, advertisements, or other promotional materials.
We take reasonable steps to blur, crop, obscure, or remove visible personally identifiable information before publicly sharing content. This may include residential addresses, house numbers, documents, or other identifying information visible in photographs or recordings.
Customers who do not want their vehicle used in publicly distributed marketing or social media content should notify Turn 4 Detail before or at the time of their appointment.
Opting out of marketing use does not prevent Turn 4 Detail from retaining photographs or videos reasonably necessary for internal documentation, condition records, insurance matters, payment disputes, fraud prevention, or other legitimate business purposes.
Additional information regarding our handling of personal information is available in our Privacy Policy.
15. Inspection & Satisfaction
Customers are encouraged to inspect the vehicle when service is completed.
If you believe an area included in the purchased service was overlooked or improperly completed, please notify Turn 4 Detail during the final inspection or within 24 hours after service completion.
We will evaluate reasonable concerns and, when appropriate, may offer to correct the affected area.
Because detailing services involve labor, chemicals, materials, and time that cannot be returned once performed, completed services are generally non-refundable.
Nothing in this provision eliminates remedies that are required by applicable law.
16. Damage Claims
Any claim involving alleged vehicle damage should be reported to Turn 4 Detail as soon as reasonably possible after discovery.
The customer agrees to provide reasonable documentation and an opportunity for Turn 4 Detail to inspect the alleged damage before repairs are performed, except where emergency repairs are reasonably necessary to prevent additional damage or address a safety issue.
Turn 4 Detail may review pre-service and post-service photographs, video, inspection records, vehicle history, and other relevant documentation when evaluating a claim.
Submitting a claim does not constitute an admission of liability by Turn 4 Detail.
17. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Customers should contact Turn 4 Detail directly if they believe a billing error has occurred or have a concern regarding a completed service.
Initiating a chargeback does not automatically cancel an amount legitimately owed for authorized services.
If a customer initiates a payment dispute or chargeback, Turn 4 Detail may provide relevant information to the payment processor, card issuer, financial institution, insurer, legal representative, or other parties reasonably involved in resolving the dispute.
Such information may include:
- Appointment and booking records.
- Customer communications.
- Signed or electronically accepted agreements.
- Invoices and receipts.
- Proof of authorization.
- Photographs and videos documenting the vehicle or completed work.
- Service records.
- Pickup or delivery documentation.
- Other information reasonably relevant to the transaction or dispute.
Turn 4 Detail reserves the right to challenge chargebacks that we reasonably believe are incorrect, fraudulent, abusive, or inconsistent with services authorized and provided.
Where permitted by law, Turn 4 Detail may also pursue unpaid balances and reasonable costs associated with collecting legitimately owed amounts.
Customers who engage in fraudulent transactions, fraudulent chargebacks, repeated payment disputes, abusive conduct, or nonpayment may be denied future service.
Nothing in this section waives a customer's rights under applicable payment-network rules or federal or state law.
18. Refusal or Termination of Service
Turn 4 Detail reserves the right to refuse, discontinue, or terminate service when permitted by law.
Reasons may include, but are not limited to:
- Unsafe working conditions.
- Abusive, threatening, harassing, or inappropriate behavior.
- Suspected fraud or theft.
- Nonpayment.
- Repeated chargebacks or payment disputes.
- Material misrepresentation of vehicle condition.
- Excessively hazardous or unsanitary vehicle conditions.
- Requests that we believe may damage the vehicle.
- Requests to perform illegal or unsafe work.
- Failure to provide reasonable vehicle or property access.
- Repeated cancellations or no-shows.
- Circumstances that prevent us from safely or reasonably performing the requested service.
Any refusal of service will be made in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local law.
19. Hazardous & Unsanitary Conditions
Turn 4 Detail may refuse or discontinue work on vehicles containing conditions that could reasonably present a health or safety risk.
Examples may include excessive mold, bodily fluids, human or animal waste, needles or sharps, hazardous chemicals, pests, biohazards, or other dangerous materials.
Additional charges may apply if undisclosed conditions require specialized cleaning, protective equipment, additional labor, or disposal procedures.
20. Delays & Events Outside Our Control
Turn 4 Detail is not responsible for reasonable delays caused by circumstances outside our control, including severe weather, power outages, equipment failure, supply shortages, road closures, emergencies, illness, or other unexpected circumstances.
Estimated completion times are estimates and may change depending on vehicle condition or service requirements.
21. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Turn 4 Detail will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
Where legally permitted, Turn 4 Detail's liability relating to a specific service will not exceed the amount paid for the service giving rise to the claim.
These limitations do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
22. Privacy
Personal information collected through bookings, communications, website use, photographs, and services is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
Our Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
23. Changes to These Terms
Turn 4 Detail may update these Terms periodically.
Changes apply prospectively from the effective date of the updated Terms. The version applicable to a transaction or appointment will generally be the version in effect when that transaction or appointment was made, unless otherwise permitted or required by law.
The “Last Updated” date at the top identifies the most recent revision.
24. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising from Turn 4 Detail's services will be governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies available under applicable federal, Washington State, or local law.
25. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
26. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the applicable estimate, invoice, service authorization, booking information, Privacy Policy, and any written agreement between the customer and Turn 4 Detail, constitute the applicable agreement regarding the services being provided.
Specific written terms agreed to for a particular service may supplement these Terms.
